Strategery Part Deux: The Return of the Rich

Thursday, June 30, 2005

This coming Tuesday, instead of our normal chapter meeting, we will have the much anticipated sequel to Strategery Part I: Strategery Part Deux: The Return of the Rich

We had an excellent meeting last time. Bills hailing from far and wide came and shared some very valuable contributions and insights about B4B's successes and strengths and ways we can improve. We made significant progress towards concrete changes in the way we operate as an organization, and evaluating how we can be most effective both internally and externally.

As we mentioned last time, we'd like to continue this discussion, and conclude with decision making about the ideal internal structure of the organization, as well as the best ways we can tackle political issues going-forward.

So please come, bringing with you, as you did last time, that same spirit of dialogue, candor, and committment to changing the political landscape of this country.

Tues July 5

Time: 6:30-10:30

Location TBA

  Privatize Coney Island!

Thursday, June 23, 2005

The time has arrived my fellow Buccaneers For Bush to
board your well appointed yachts and set course for
the Coney Island Mermaid Parade.

When:
This Saturday, June 25 all Billionaires (their
friends, servants and lobbyists) are invited to gather
together at 12:30 to set up and conspire for the
parade. We need to get our props together and perhaps
work on a few chants and a little choreography (look
out Busby Berkeley!).

Starter chant: Poor people get a clue, Coney Island's
not for you!

Where:
Coney Island parade route is on Surf Avenue.
Take the D, Q, N or F train to Stillwell Ave. last
stop).

Registration:
While the Billionaires are listed as a marching group,
everyone should register themselves. Go to one of the
registration areas (16 St and Surf Ave or Surf in
front of the Cyclone) and say you are with the
Billionaires For Bush. There is a $10 fee. They will
give you our group number and direct you to the
staging area.

The Theme: “May We Barge In!”
Billionaires arrive in our regatta of yachts to
liberate to public beach from the masses and establish
our very own private Coney island Yacht Club!

Attire:
Think nautical, yacht wear and decadence by the sea!
Navy blues and whites, linens, captain's caps,
parasols and big sun hats. We are Deregulators of the
Deep! Think, Popeye the Boardroom man and Mermaids of
Misappropriation! (Travel light, there's no place to
stash anything. Keep sunscreen and water in mind too)

Tasks:
We need a crafty billionaire or two who can help work
on our bribe for the parade judges. Should be a fun
job. Any volunteers? We're open to bribes of all
sorts so speak your mind my brethren of the cost line.

For any Billionaires more inclined to sail through the
parade on their own, how about hooking up with the
group when we reach the judge's area. The more the
maritimerrier! Yachta, yachta, yachta

To bills far and wide, we wish you all a CON Voyage!

  Ahoy Deregulators of the Deep!

Monday, June 13, 2005

From the boardroom to the boardwalk the
Billionaires For Bush work is never done. Please have
your personal assistant’s assistant note on your
calendars that Saturday, June 25 is the 22nd Annual
Mermaid Parade at Coney Island!

Pardone us as we Barge In! We need more boat slips
for our yachts and oil tankers!

Last year, the Billionaires participated and came in
3rd place. How preposterous! We Always Pay for 1st
Place! Billionaires of every shape and size are
invited to be a part of the celebration and ensure our
win when we march with the unwashed and pastied masses
again this year.

All Pirates of Privatization and Sirens of Outsourcing
across the land who are interested in participating
please join the discuss list by writing to
Mermaid@billionairesforbush.com. There’s a scant two
weeks to rig this regatta. Let’s get busy!

Yo ho ho and a harty Huzzah!
